Riget Technologies, Inc. (“Riget”) Acceptable Use Policy
By using the website, FortiFile application, and services (collectively, the “Services”) provided by Riget Technologies, Inc. (“Riget”), you agree to abide by the terms and restrictions of this Acceptable Use Policy (the “AUP”). This AUP is incorporated into any agreement between you and Riget. Riget may modify or change this AUP at any time and provide you notice of such changes by posting the modified AUP to its site or emailing the modified AUP to you. Such modified AUP will become effective as to your use of the Riget Services on the latter of (i) its posting to the Riget site or (ii) as otherwise set forth in your Agreement with Riget. Riget reserves the right, but does not undertake the obligation, to investigate any violation of its AUP and to report any activity that it reasonably believes violates applicable law.
Violation of this AUP may lead to suspension or termination of your account and other actions, up to and including legal action. Riget reserves the right to take any other remedial action it sees fit.
Riget requests that anyone with information about a violation of this AUP file a report via e-mail to the following address: support@rigettech.com. Please provide the date and time (with time zone) of the violation and any identifying information regarding the violator, including e-mail or IP (Internet Protocol) address if available, as well as details of the violation.
You are independently responsible for your own compliance with all laws applicable to your conduct and your use of the Services. In addition, you agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:
- use the Services to violate the security or integrity of the Services or of any system used to provide the Services (“System”);
- monitor any traffic or data on the System used to provide the Services without Riget’s written permission;
- forge any packet header, email header, or any other portion of a message describing its origin or route;
- use the Services or access the System used to provide the Services without authorization from Riget;
- access any Service or restricted area within a Service or System to which you are not permitted access under your Agreement with Riget;
- attempt to probe, scan, or test the security measures of the Services or the System;
- access or use the Services in a manner designed or intended to exceed restrictions or usage quotas placed upon your account, or in any manner designed to avoid the incurrence of additional fees based on such use;
- attempt to modify, alter, or otherwise create derivative works from any software to which you are provided access as part of your receipt of the Services, or attempt to reverse engineer, reverse compile, decompile, disassemble, or deobfuscate such software, except where expressly permitted to do so by applicable law;
- sell the Services unless specifically authorized by Riget to do so, or purchase the Services from an unauthorized seller;
- use the Services or any System used to deliver the Services in any manner that interferes with or disrupts the Services or the System, including initiation of a Denial of Service attack or other high volume, automated attempt to access or deny access to the System or Services;
- neither insert nor permit, to the best of your ability, the insertion of any Malicious Code into the Services or System, where “Malicious Code” will mean (i) any code, program, or subāprogram, including any “virus”, “Trojan horse”, “worm”, “trap door”, “black box”, or “malware” (as such terms are commonly understood in the computer software industry), or any other device or code designed to damage or maliciously interfere with the operation of the Services or System, or (ii) any device, method, or token that permits any person to circumvent without authorization the normal security of any software or system containing the code;
- use the Services in any manner that violates any applicable law, including, without limitation, the publishing or sharing of content that violates the intellectual property or other proprietary rights of third parties;
- use the Services, including by publishing or sharing any content, in a manner that is illegal, harmful, obscene, abusive, deceptive, harassing, defamatory, or offensive, including the publishing or sharing of materials that constitute child sexually exploitative material (including material which may not be illegal child sexual abuse material but which nonetheless sexually exploits or promotes the sexual exploitation of minors), unlawful pornography, or are otherwise indecent; publishing or sharing content that contains or promotes extreme acts of violence or terrorist activity, including terror or violent extremist propaganda; or publishing or sharing material intended to advocate bigotry, hatred, or the incitement of violence; and
- violate the privacy or infringe the rights of others, including publishing or sharing other people’s confidential information, identifying information, or intimate imagery without authorization for the purposes of harassing, exposing, harming, or exploiting them; or
- otherwise violate the law in any way.
